MINSTER / MMC PRESSES: Minster was founded in Ohio in 1896 and was one of the premier press builders in NA for many decades. Minster enjoyed a great customer loyalty for many years due to the quality and robustness of their presses. In the 1960ās when Sutherland was importing Aida from Japan, Minster was of the opinion that they could not be bothered with imported presses. History has changed the dynamics in the stamping press industry, now Nidec Minster is owned by a large Japanese company, Nidec-Shimpo and is now importing presses from both Japan and China.
